- General Notes: This sterling silver coin is in commemoration of the 1976 American Bar Association annual meeting celebrating the United States bicentennial and the common legal bond with Great Britain. The front of the coin has the legal scale in the center bordered by both the United States flag on the left side and the British flag on the right. The phrase ‘Common Faith’ is along the top of the coin, and the phrase ‘Common Law’ is along the bottom of the coin. The reverse side has the American Bar Association name on the top edge and logo in the center along with its founding date “1878” on the bottom. Stamped on the edge “Sterling, Franklin Mint hallmark ‘FM’ and ’76’.”
