Summary Note
The aim of this book is to present a detailed account of contemporary lists of legal texts in the library of Merton College, Oxford. The majority of these documents had been either bequeathed to the college by James Leech (d. 1588/9), a former Fellow, or acquired from the executors of John Betts.
